About Me

An animal lover since childhood, I have always shared my life with cats and dogs. The bonds I have formed with them have not only given me first-hand experience of the wonderful therapeutic benefits of being in their company, but have given me utmost respect for them. It is my strong belief that we should treat all animals with respect, compassion and understanding.

I grew up in the UK and moved to London from my hometown in the 90s. I landed my dream job, working as a veterinary support assistant and receptionist in a busy small animal practice. Eventually, I left my full-time position to pursue a career as a yoga teacher, but continued to help on reception occasionally.

I moved to the Swiss Alps in 2010 and live in the Val de Bagnes with my husband Ant, our two Spanish rescue dogs and our two ex-feral cats.

I hold diplomas (all passed with distinction) in: –

S.A. C Dip. Animal Psychology level 3.
S.A. C Dip. Advanced Animal Psychology level 4.
S.A. C Dip. Veterinary Support Assistant (inc. Small animal first aid)

In early 2020, I began studying with the Nordic Education Centre for Dog Trainers and hold  Level 3 and Level 4 diplomas in practical dog training, and advanced behaviour and problem-solving. I regularly attend seminars and lectures as part of my continued professional development.

I am also a member of Pet Dog Trainers of Europe.
